Welcome to SPEW! For a limited time, we are collaborating with Good Shepherd Sisters in Tagaytay and Baguio to sell their products in Metro Manila.
Every time you purchase, SPEW gives a portion to anti-human trafficking programs run by Catholic institutions in the Philippines.
Made by Alay Kapwa Rural Women Multi-purpose Cooperative, a cooperative supported by the Good Shepherd Sisters in Sariaya, Quezon.
Turmeric and especially its most active compound curcumin have many scientifically-proven health benefits, such as the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer's and cancer. It's a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.
SPEW Chief House Elf
Getting our inspiration from the fictional group Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, SPEW supports anti-human trafficking programs that aim to eliminate modern-day slavery. As it is described, house-elves were neither paid, nor given holidays for their work, and are bound to serve their masters all their life. For every sale made, SPEW donates to non-profit organizations in the Philippines that work on eliminating modern-day slavery in our time.
